Senior Technical Project Manager

We are searching for an experienced, strategic-minded Senior Technical Project Manager to join our team in support of a large non-profit.

Responsibilities: 

Develop roadmaps and product detail plans through collaboration with stakeholders, manage milestones and communicate initiative status Define the long-term strategy and objectives for the product ensuring alignment with organizational goals Serve as primary contact to the business and manage short- and long-term product initiatives by ensuring the technical and business/organizational alignment Work with cross-functional teams and various stakeholders Creatively conceive and champion best practices for new and ongoing processes Establish acceptance criteria and sign off on all developed products prior to launch Ensure high-quality deliverables are met from requirements definition through testing and deployment Build strong relationships with client and internal team members to deliver success Other duties as assigned 

Qualifications: 

7+ years experience in an IT project and/or IT product management role Must be organized to run a well-executed software development project but performance must be elevated above completing a project plan or task list.At least 2 years experience with the full Atlassian suite of products such as Confluence and Jira Experience with Agile development methodology Experience working with IT Product and Engineering teamsExpertise in building long-term product roadmapsProven organizational skills and focused attention to detail Exceptional written and verbal communication skillsAbility to pass a background check

Education: 

Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience

Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as proven stakeholder management experience High energy, drive, and a passion for building new and innovative products A self-managed and dedicated approach with the ability to work independently Strong problem-solving capabilities as well as the flexibility (of working style) to deal with changing and conflicting priorities Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills Demonstrated experience in gathering and transforming customer needs into an actionable product vision and requirements definition Experience working alongside C-suite or other senior executives
