Project Coordinator

Connect Centric is assisting a rapidly growing company in the home improvement industry fill a permanent Project Coordinator role as they undergo a major transformation initiative. The Project Coordinator will report to the Program Manager and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, both internal and external. The responsibilities of this role will evolve as our client progresses in their transformation journey.

The Project Coordinator will work closely with team members to ensure the successful completion of project requirements, adherence to deadlines, and adherence to schedules. Responsibilities will also include submitting project deliverables, preparing status reports, and establishing effective project communication plans, as well as executing these plans.

Responsibilties:

Responsible for existing and future state business applications that manage the business from leads to post-installation services calls.Overseeing the development of the project and ensuring that team members are carrying out their tasks efficiently while upholding the company’s standards.Coordinate with cross-disciplined team members to make sure that all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.Meet with project team members to identify and resolve issues.Submit project deliverables and ensure that they adhere to quality standards.Prepare status reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing relevant information.Establish effective project communication plans and ensure the execution.Facilitate change requests to ensure that all parties are informed of the impacts on schedule and budget.Coordinate the development of user manuals, training materials, and other documents as needed to enable successful implementation and turnover of the process or system to internal customers.Obtain internal customer acceptance of project deliverables.Conduct post-project evaluation and identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.Transformation projects (e.g., ERP, CRM) oversightOther duties, as assigned

Qualifications:

A bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in a related field.Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.Proven experience in project management.Ability to lead project teams of various sizes and see them through to completion.Strong understanding of formal project management methodologies.Experience as an IT project coordinator, or ERP project coordinator.Able to complete projects in a timely manner.Understanding of ERP implementation.Budget management experience.
